Assessment should produce credible evidence without creating unnecessary work for learners or assessors. ELN develops practical assessment and recognition systems that make expectations clear, support consistent decisions and remain aligned with the applicable training, qualification or organisational requirements.
Work may include assessment tools, projects, observation instruments, professional-conversation guides, RPL and RCC toolkits, foundation-skills checks, third-party evidence, mapping, validation and moderation resources. Candidate guidance and assessor decision-making tools are designed as one system rather than separate documents.
For recognition, the process should respect what a candidate already knows while still establishing the authenticity, currency, sufficiency and relevance of the evidence. Where gaps exist, the system should identify targeted questions, assessment or training rather than forcing a candidate to repeat an entire learning program.

We focus on validity, fairness, practicality and evidence that genuinely supports the assessment or recognition decision.
